Dr. Neeti M. Alapati, is a glaucoma specialist who has been serving the greater Kansas City Area for the last four and half years and is the newest addition to our team at Stiles Eyecare Excellence (SEE). Dr. Alapati was born and raised in Kansas, and completed her medical school in the 6-year combined B.A.-M.D. program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She then went on to complete her Ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Washington University in St. Louis.

She has been providing ethical and high-quality care as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas Health System for the last 4 years. She specializes in treating all stages of glaucoma and general ophthalmology, with a focus on cataract surgery. She has been involved with many clinical trials at the University and will continue to engage in these trials at SEE to contribute to the advancement of the field.

Dr. Alapati is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and Women in Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the Kansas City Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.

Dr. Neeti Alapati and her husband, Dr. Krishna Alapati, M.D. live in South Overland Park with their three daughters, Aashni, Anjani, and Amaani, as well as their two fur-babies, Tum-Tum and Panda. Her children are the greatest joy in Dr. Alapatis life. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and has a strong passion for all forms of music.
She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
